Focus and Scope
The Revista de la Comunicación de la SEECI is a scientific journal of a non-commercial nature, published by the Sociedad de Española de Estudios de la Comunicación Iberoamericana (SEECI), with uninterrupted edition since its foundation in 1996. The official language of the journal is Spanish, although contributions are accepted in English, French, Italian and Portuguese. As of the year 2021 it adopted the continuous publication system, uploading articles individually as the editorial process is completed in open access electronic format.
It is a refereed journal, which uses the double peer review system, according to the publication standards of the American Psychological Association (APA 7th). This review method guarantees an impartial, objective and transparent arbitration, which facilitates the article's inclusion in international reference databases, repositories and indexing.
The process of evolution of knowledge has generated that, to the thematic axes originally proposed, others were added to respond to the new spaces of knowledge generated in the XXI century, currently it is specialized in the area of Humanism and Communication Networks.
