Abstract

The study of revolution and loss of the Philippines has decided to take this time as a source in the Spanish newspaper El País that provides a more violent point of view in certain terms of the situation, changing with it the Spanish public opinion towards a more belligerent position in connection with the foreign conflict, noting also that the fatal outcome is ultimately a consequence of the great men of the Restoration.

Licenciada en Geografía e Historia por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid  y Doctora en Periodismo (Historia de la Comunicación Social). Profesora en el Departamento de Historia de la Comunicación Social, Facultad de CC.II. de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, España. Autora de varios libros y artículos científicos e investigadora en numerosos proyectos oficiales competitivos, en especial la creación de diccionarios especializados.
