Abstract

This article attempts to show the power and influence possessed by the natives of Lima in Peru's colonial society, with special reference to its presence in the Audience of Lima in the second half of the eighteenth century. The aim is an approach to the leaders who had the command of the Peruvian society in the last decades of the Enlightment.
